i’m so proud of you! you actually got in that slimy water to pull weeds AND you ate local food! you’ll be a pro at the food part by the time you get to manila. then you’ll be cooking Philippino food like crazy! we did our fire pit this weekend and made smores. i thought of you.

Oh I can imagine the sliminess of that water and you not wanting to get in. I can also pretty much imagine that it was you who started said mud fight. Right? I also imagine how jealous I am of what you get to be doing. It seems like you are enjoying such a freedom over there without any worries on your shoulder. Rachel, I love this post! It makes me so happy that you are making such amazing friendships! That is so important when you’re far away from home! I can totally see you laughing at hurting someone. meanie! And to answer his question… yes, you are crazy! But that’s why we love you!
So, I assume by now that you’ve heard Karla’s getting married in October! After being so excited for her, I then thought of you and how you won’t be there. That makes me so sad! But I’m sure there will be plenty of pictures and video to share! You will definitely be missed! I love you and I’m SO glad things are going so amazingly well! xoxo
