Chapel speaker extraordinaire! March 29, 2007
This morning I traveled down to Hurt, VA and spoke in the chapel service for Faith Christian Academy. I wouldn’t actually say I was extraordinary since I couldn’t figure out how to use the projector for my PowerPoint. Kids laughed…but so did I. I finally got the hang of it and went to town with what I used to think of missionaries (nerds living in huts) and how God changed my opinion and is sending me overseas. I didn’t get a chance to interact with the kids afterwards but if even ONE of them gets excited about missions at all, the visit was well worth it!
In the middle of April, I will be heading down to my alma mater to speak and hopefully add to my support team. Not to mention a nice little side trip to Six Flags over Atlanta. Wooooord. In the midst of the roller coaster weekend (literally), I hope to actually accomplish something in the missions realm so please keep that in your prayers. Thanks a mil!
